Privacy Policy

Effective July 2026. How Intel Consultancy collects, uses and protects your information — explained in plain English, not legalese.

Privacy policy details

Who we are

Intel Consultancy is run by Dominic Walsh, based in Dorset, who acts as the data controller for the information described on this page. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration reference ZC189847. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, email us at hello@intelconsultancy.co.uk.

What we collect

When you get in touch — through our intake form, a booking, or a call — we may collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), and the business details you share with us about the problem you want help with.

Why we collect it

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, prepare for and run your free diagnostic call, and deliver any services you go on to engage us for. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest for enquiries, and performance of a contract once you become a client. We don't sell your data, and we never pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

Where it's processed

Our intake form is handled by Tally, and call bookings by Calendly. Both act as data processors on our behalf and have their own GDPR commitments — you can read Tally's GDPR information and Calendly's privacy policy directly.

How long we keep it

If you enquire but don't go on to become a client, we keep your details for up to 12 months. If you become a client, we keep your data for the length of the engagement plus 6 years afterwards, as required for legal and accounting purposes.

Your rights under UK GDPR

  • You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to how we use your data, and the right to data portability.
  • You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@intelconsultancy.co.uk.

Cookies

This site itself sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The form and calendar embedded on our homepage — provided by Tally and Calendly — may set their own functional cookies needed to make those tools work.

Questions are always welcome — email us at hello@intelconsultancy.co.uk.
